Chatting with Service Desk Leaders at SITS

SITS logoLast week, staff from our Denmark headquarters and our UK team converged at SITS – the UK’s leading IT service management and support event – at London’s Earls Court.  The two-day expo gave us an opportunity to visit with some long-time Netop customers and make some new acquaintances, as well.  It also gave us an opportunity to spend some quality time with Angelo from Sigma Software Distribution – our UK distributor –  and Neil from our partner Grey Matter.  As a Netop partners, Sigma and Grey Matter are continuously updated on Netop product development and a valued ally in joint marketing ventures.  Still, it was worthwhile for us to get some face-to-face time – particularly so Chris Twyman, our Global Solution Manager, could share some information on some near-horizon developments to our Remote Control and Live Guide online chat solutions.

Visitors to our stand at the show were quite interested to learn more about Netop OnDemand – our remote support tool that allows you to connect without any pre-installation on the target machine – and WebConnect – our web-hosted platform for connectivity that allows service desks to connect with devices outside of their network.  Chris provided many demonstrations of our remote control tools to those who stopped by.

Kudos to the SITS team for putting together a great event.  We were impressed with the quality of communication before and during the show. Big thanks to everybody who took the time to stop by the Netop booth and learn about what’s around the corner for service desk remote solutions – including iOS support, web-based, secure connectivity and chat channels for IT. And thanks to The Muffin Man Tea Shop for keeping us cozy and energized during the expo!
