Lynxspring’s LYNX CyberPRO, the first cyber-threat solution designed specifically for building automation and energy management systems, has been recognized as the 2014 ControlTrends Awards Innovative Product of the Year. The product of a partnership between Netop and Lynxspring, LYNX CyberPRO provides secure, remote access into building automation systems – allowing efficient remote control of building technology while reducing attack surfaces. LYNX CyberPRO is designed to be installed on existing BAS networks as well as in new construction.
Each year, the ControlTrends Awards recognizes companies, products, technologies and individuals in the HVAC and building automation industry for their contributions to the field. Category nominees are chosen by a global governing body and winners are selected through an industry-wide vote. Each category’s winners represent the products and people making the strongest impact. The 2014 winners, including LYNX CyberPRO, were announced January 27, 2015.
“We are honored to have been recognized for our efforts especially for a product that addresses an area which is of utmost concern to us all, cyber security,” said Marc Petok, Vice President of Marketing for Lynxspring and Connexx Energy. “It validates that our path of adding additional layers of cyber protection to today’s building and energy systems and connected devices is the right one and we couldn’t be more thrilled.”
