On Tuesday, February 17, Netop released a new version of Netop Remote Control that featured a new home page for the Netop Remote Control Portal. The home page now includes direct downloads of Netop components – for easy access and quick Remote Control configuration – and video tutorials that show how to add machines and users to the Portal The Netop Remote Control Portal is our cloud-based interface that provides a central hub for managing users and devices, as well as our Browser-based Support Console for lightweight, go anywhere remote support. As with all Portal improvements, our goal is to provide our customers the best user experience available in a remote access solution. Netop will be regularly adding features to the Portal and continually building out the functionality of our SaaS remote access components throughout the spring.
Concurrent with this update to Netop Remote Control, we conducted maintenance releases of Netop OnDemand and Netop WebConnect that addressed the Poodle OpenSSL security bug, as well as other security improvements.
